Jason Golz, CFA
Jason has 15 years of technology, communications, and finance experience. He advises public and private sector companies on investor relations, corporate media relations, corporate reputation, IPOs and mergers and acquisitions. Jason is co-head of the firm's Capital Markets Advisory practice and helped develop its IPO Prep program, designed to prepare private companies for the communication rigors of going public.
Before joining Brunswick in 2009, Jason was a Vice President on the Strategic Communications team at FTI Consulting. Jason has written and spoken on various communications topics, from strategy and measurement to social media's influence on investors. He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA with a BA in Business and Economics and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004.
Jason has advised on IPOs for Facebook and Talecris and dual-track assignments for Skype and Mercury Payment Systems. Recent domestic and cross-border transactions include Applied Materials proposed merger with Tokyo Electron, Silver Lake's proposed LBO of Dell, BGI's purchase of Complete Genomics (the first ever Chinese acquisition of a US-listed company) and Intel's first-of-its-kind investment in ASML.
